factions.
When characters arrive in The Space, they will find themselves sorted into groups, noted by a certain emblem on their person, whether it’s by a discrete marking on their clothes or a tattoo on their skin. These emblems are indicative of which faction that they’ve been sorted into. These factions are based on a number of different characteristics - archetypes, traits, morality, and of course the whims of fate.
There are six available factions: Artists, Knights, Mages, Nomads, Rulers, Thiefs. They all possess different traits that would pull characters to them, and they will work in a variety of ways as characters move from world to world.
Factions are meant to be used in an IC as well as OOC basis. They’ll be used for a few features, including but not limited to the following:
» AC Bonus Tokens can be used in exchange for getting IC gifts for your characters. All factions will share a category of reward (Fashion, Mount, Skill) but have nuanced rewards that they can reap. The cost of the skill will be in the (#) next to each category.
» Factions will be used to generate spontaneous CR situations in worlds where players are expected to abide by a certain set of guidelines. For example, a dorming situation determined by Faction, or determining which kingdom a character will serve in a war split up by Faction.
» Characters can change faction if they complete a task assigned to them! Please see the comment below if you would like your character to change faction.
♥ Artist's Class
Those belonging to Artist's Class will find themselves with a heart emblem on their person, whether as a tattoo or on their clothes - however these hearts will vary based on character. A full heart, a broken heart, a heart with a knife through it, an anatomically correct heart - they will share the theme of being hearts.

▽ Knight's Class
Those belonging to Knight's Class will find themselves with a coat of arms emblem on their person, whether as a tattoo or on their clothes - it might not look like a traditional coat of arms. The theme is that it will be a shield that has symbols that represent things that are important to them specifically. No two coat of arms will look the same probably!

Those belonging to Mage's Class will find themselves with a celestial body emblem on their person, whether as a tattoo or on their clothes - however these tattoos will vary based on character. A full moon, a blazing sun, a shooting star, a very fluffy cloud - if it belongs in the sky, then it fits with the theme!

Those belonging to Nomad's Class will find themselves with a nature emblem on their person, whether as a tattoo or on their clothes - however these tattoos will vary based on character. A cascading waterfall, a gorgeous tree in fall, a leaf - if it's a body of nature that belongs on earth, then it fits within the theme.

Snakes, canines, felines, even mythical creatures are fair game if you want to get your unicorn tattoo you've always wanted.

Desired Reward: something bad... specifically taking away minato's voice so he can be a proper silent protag/also I can play charades for the rest of my time here. I dropped my phone on my face while writing this, I already received karma

However for Minato, beginning in World 3, he will suddenly find himself unable to speak.
For one token, it will last half the world. For two tokens, it will last the entire world. If you want to talk about him losing his voice/being unable to speak entirely for the rest of the game, we can discuss! Just let me know what you'd prefer to have happen.

I'll spend 2 tokens for the effect to last the entire world! And would potentially like to continue him being mute and would willing to spend future bonus tokens extending that, but let me decide closer towards the end of the world in case it turns out too frustrating to play?

Sounds good!! Then beginning in World 3, he'll be mute for the rest of the world. If you would like an IC reason, the opening event will probably help out with that! ;)
