Closes my eyes, you can't just let a raccoon do some murder, huh. Well! If Card still wants Kano to fall into the river and almost drown, the tanuki can definitely latch onto him and try to take him out to head into the river at the same time!
The Nurikabe will just thank them both for their help, and state that he was just minding his own business during meteor night and trying to get to safety just like anyone else! Honest! :( They can all head out together if they'd like, and then the nurikabe can tell them more outside.

Kano and the tanuki do the thing where one tries to use the other like a floatie and shoves the other person's head down underwater in order to climb over them to be able to breathe, and then the other person drags them back down into the water so it can be on top instead, and this cycle repeats for a few seconds before they're both able to crawl their way back to land. They're fine. Just going to take a breather on the riverbank.
Meanwhile, Tsukasa sees that Kano's okay (probably) and heads out with the nurikabe, and Kano will join them in a bit.
