Welcome to a chance to affect the plot of the world directly! This portion of the game will operate a little bit like a Choose Your Own Adventure mechanic in a murdergame. Volunteered characters will be randomly chosen to embark on a journey and their choices will affect their well-being and the outcome of this world.
This initiative in particular has a chance to unlock a possible additional ending option for this world hop.
If you're interested, please reply to this comment! The initiative will have one week to be completed in order to be eligible for plot purposes, so please make sure you're available for threading. Sign ups will close Saturday, December 21st at 3 PM PST / 6 PM EST.
All mail is sent through the courier, and is delivered on a weekly basis! Please use this to directly contact family heads, establish relationships with people across the river away from public scrutiny, or otherwise send possibly anonymous messages for whatever your needs may be. As ways to get involved and scrounge up your own toys to play with without having to run to a role - feel free to get involved in a world investigation! Gently reworked from the previous world, investigations will now have the following format: one or more characters will submit an area of the world they'd like to gather information in, and can detail how they'd like to do it. They will then be given a maximum of three choices that will be organized back and forth with a mod in the comments here, and they will ultimately walk away with plot hints as well as a consequence of their adventure!

I'm not! entirely sure! this is how world investigations work anymore, but I thought I'd put this here anyways and you can tell me otherwise
Character Names: Shuuya Kano Location: Legal Fun Time Fight Club, Itaru's clinic, throughout Montevallo's streets Actions Taken: Per his assignment from Royce, Kano's keeping an eye out for arguments and fights that break out between the Mori and Xian Le that seem more personal than e.g assigned fights in the ring. He'll be focusing on the fight club (both in the ring and in the background where he works), Itaru's clinic (eavesdropping on any mentions of a patient attaining wounds due to a fight against a member of another family), or squabbles on the streets that escalate into violence.
Separately, he's also listening for mentions of the late mayor (who died 6 months ago? 1 year ago? the plotting post has different numbers which I'm not sure is important, but if there is an IC discrepancy, Kano would pay attention to that too) and the two Xian Le heads that were assassinated, if their names are still being mentioned by anybody. Additionally, he's on the lookout for any mentions of the smaller families within the Mori family not getting along with one another and any potential fighting amongst themselves.
Overall, he's not taking any real action, and plans to remain an observer in the background unless somebody's about to die.
