Bite away, Futaba! Some of the patrons start yelling about the possibility of getting infected with rabies, and the more tin foil hatted ones begin wondering if this is another act of misfortune set upon them by the gods. She'll probably have to take that hall sooner or later, since the ire of the teahouse-goers steadily rises and more than a few hands come close to keeping hold even with the risk of being bitten. While the patrons don't follow after her, she does have three determined employees chasing her down, and they aren't afraid to hurt her to stop her.
As Jared 19 approaches Sesshomaru to grab him, he doesn't move away! She'll be able to grab his jacket and menace him, as she does. To Hua Cheng, he speaks rather calmly.
"I'm acting like a busy man because I am one."
And for Beau's angry questioning, he gives her a somewhat bemused look. "I had them made, of course, and rid myself of a business liability afterward. You would have to do the work yourself if you aim to be a competitor... Are you satisfied with that answer?"
About halfway through that last sentence, he moves, quick as lightning and with a brutal strength that seems at odds with his elegance. No hand restraint means he's free to mcstab, and he'll attempt to jab a beautifully decorated tantou blade that falls down his sleeve to his hand into Beau's gut.
If Hua Cheng attempts to get any closer, the man raises his other hand and tosses a handful of something powdery and pungent-smelling into the air in his direction. Inhaling any of it will cause temporary dizziness and lethargy, but if it gets into his eyes it begins to burn horrendously like he was involved in a high school lab accident without safety goggles.
Futaba runs like the wind down the hallway and does a sweet slide across the floor to try and bite Sesshomaru's ankles, immediately. This likely coincides with Beau getting fucking stabbed, which like, ow. She's tough enough that she refuses to let go of him, though, and even though she's been stabbed, she spits in his face.
"You had better fucking run as fast as you can, buddy, because I'm going to kill you when I see you next, what's your fucking name?" Beau tells him, before Hua Cheng moves forward and gets the terrible eye-burny powder in his eye.
Futaba probably power-slid right into the powder, too, so now Hua Cheng has two dumb kids that he's going to try and drag away from the fight and to safety. They running! As best they can, anyway. Beau will help Hua Cheng fight people off as much as she can while she's bleeding. She also probably fights Hua Cheng a bit because she wants to continue to try and beat the shit out of Sesshomaru, but.
Thanks for the bite, Futaba?! Incredible. He barely reacts to it, and she'll find that his blood tastes exceedingly bitter. Sesshomaru's rudeass clone (so isn't that just Sesshomaru??) wipes the spit off his face after wiping his dagger off on Beau's clothing like the kind gentleman he is.
"I don't think you need to know that, miss."
And then he disappears! Funky. If any of them who aren't blinded look closely, they'll see a white snake slithering away from the spot the man once stood, vanishing into the depths of the room. Beau might also catch a peek at the papers he left on the table before she's dragged out. They appear to be correspondence with a large production company outside of the country, which has ties all across the globe.
As they make their escape, they'll have the three waitstaff to contend with first! It's not too much of a hassle, probably; they're not as strong as either Hua Cheng or Beau, even if they kinda have a leg up thanks to their injuries. The patrons of the restaurant also mob them when they come through, but more out of confusion than anything. There's blood?? There's chaos??? They have no idea what's going on.
After they escape the frantic crowd, Beau may begin to feel more and more exhausted. She'll notice that she seems to be bleeding a disproportionate amount for the size of the wound, and may be able to deduce that she's been stabbed by an enchanted dagger that has halted the clotting process. No mythical means of healing it seem to work. Looks like she'll need to go about this the old fashioned way and cauterize the wound to get it to stop bleeding. Best get on that before she bleeds out!
Hua Cheng will want to wash that powder away as quickly as possible, since it will irritate his skin and anything else it comes into contact with. But it seems the amount he took to the face will have permanent consequences regardless. The eye that was hit with the most powder will suffer from an ongoing, excruciating pain that radiates from the socket and aches through his entire skull until it abruptly stops, leaving a strange numbness behind. It seems the affected eye has mostly melted in its socket as though spattered with acid, rendering him half-blind.
Futaba didn't get enough of the powder to cause permanent damage, but she's still going to want to rinse off quickly. She did get some of the man's blood in her mouth, though! He's a snake youkai with a unique trait: he's both venomous and poisonous. She'll be plagued by vivid hallucinations (seeing things or people that aren't there, smelling scents that no one else can, hearing people calling her name when no one has, etc) for the next 12 hours and be unable to fall asleep tonight.
The three will also be banned from the teahouse in the future, complete with terrible artist rendition wanted posters hanging on the inside wall that warn any staff and customers of their heinous chaotic deeds. And that's the end of this investigation, Scoobies! :)
